I chose the Mia Lace Gown for one reason… the fit. The only thing I had to change was the length and everything else worked perfectly. The lace overlay with the nude lining allows you to wear this gown all year round. I added my black vintage fur stoll to really boost the black tie appeal and finished it off with my Brian Atwood T Strap sandals. Last step… jewelry (my favorite part.) If you know me then you know I do not have pierced ears (shocking, I know!) Who would have thought, the girl who is obsessed with accessorizing has never pierced her ears. Well, I searched all over Manhattan and finally found Jennifer Miller…and the love affair began. This store has so many options from costume jewelry to statement pieces to diamonds… basically everything and more. It is my first stop when it comes to finding jewelry for an event. Their price points can range from $150 to $1000+ and regardless of price, everything in the store is beautiful and well made. I would not pass up the opportunity to check out their website www.jennifermiller.com when you are looking for that next amazing piece of jewelry.

I am not sure about you but… I am definitely in the midst of wedding season! I have SO many weddings and finding a few dresses that can be re worked and worn to different events is a must. There is no way to purchase a new dress for every occasion… the only solution is finding timeless gowns that will remain classic over time.
Alice and Olivia seems to always be the answer to my prayers… well priced gowns that fit like a glove and can stand the test of time. I have collected quite a few of their dresses for engagement parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners and I find I gravitate towards the collection when it is time to find a special piece. There really are not many brands out there that produce dresses with the quality and price point of Alice and Olivia.
As always, thank you for reading!
