Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday with friends and family. I can’t express how thankful I am for the support I have received surrounding Blake and Gold. It has been an amazing few months and this is just the beginning!
Now that the holidays are right around the corner, I always try to bring out some dresses that have been in the back of my closet and need a little bit of love. I always talk about wearing things you own for different occasions… well, this Alice + Olivia dress definitely fits that mold perfectly. I have worn it to so many events (Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, and more) but I always think about it when it comes time for Holiday parties.
The black and white color combo is a blank canvas that allows you to build more around. I can already see this with a red lip and black sequin jacket for a New Years party or even a red coat (like this one) and a chunky silver necklace for a Christmas party. Being that it was a daytime shoot, I wanted to keep the look pretty simple and show off the dress. I absolutely LOVE how the peplum accentuates your waist and the short puff sleeve adds some dimension at your shoulders. I had to throw on my new babies… aka my Valentino pumps that I just got for my birthday. They are my absolute favorite shoe and I really feel they make an outfit.
