Although it is getting extremely cold in New York I still believe you can look fashionable and keep warm. I know most people resort to wearing black, navy… mainly primary dark colors once the weather changes but I think the only way to brighten those freezing mornings is with some color! An easy way to do this is buying a statement coat or a fun scarf in a pop color. Lately, I have been hooked on gray (as you can see here) and I find that dusty rose / blush goes perfectly with a gray and/or purple hue.
Every time I put on this Joie coat my day improves. I know it sounds crazy, but there is some excitement (I think) involved in adding a fun pink coat to your everyday look. With that said, I have always wanted to find the perfect scarf to go with it. I am obsessed with layering so winter accessories are key for me. I have spent many months looking for the perfect plaid scarf… one that brings out a little grey, feels lightweight enough but also durable, lays perfectly amongst all of my coats and sweaters, and ultimately completes every outfit. Well, I looked no further than my favorite scarf brand, Elizabeth Gillett! They have the most incredible patterns, prints, and novelty scarves. They absolutely transform your outfit and add that extra ounce of special. The hand woven fabrics of all Elizabeth Gillett scarves make them the ultimate accessory… not to mention they are gorgeous!
Hope everyone is staying warm, Happy Tuesday! X
