Happy Friday! I have really been off the map this week so I am so sorry I haven’t been on top of posting. With that said, I can’t even express how happy I am that it is the weekend and I am heading off on vacation next week.
I shot this look and it was absolutely bitter outside so I did my best to keep it together for all the shots. I fell in love with this DKNY cape a few years ago and tend to throw it over everything. Perhaps it is not the warmest of options but it definitely does add some spice to an outfit. I wanted to play on proportions, textures and prints with this look and work with a cropped sweater, tiered skirt, tortoiseshell glasses, over sized cape… you see what I’m getting at. I love how the look complements the grey undertones of the backdrop. I know sometimes wearing tights and a skirt can be a challenge but it really becomes such an easy every day outfit if it is worn with a comfortable sweater. I couldn’t have felt cozier in this look.
