I can’t even begin to express how amazing this past weekend was. My best friends and I all headed up to Connecticut to the Lake and spent a really nice relaxing weekend out of the city. The weather was absolutely perfect, the fall foliage was in full swing, and sitting by the fire and taking it all in could not have been more necessary. I forgot to mention the endless laughs and memories shared.
On Saturday we headed to a local pumpkin and apple picking farm. It was, as we all said… the epitome of autumn. In preparation for the weekend I wanted to pack some easy pieces that could keep me warm but also transition well with the backdrop. And what an amazing one it was!
Stripes and Plaid are a classic combination that really lend themselves to Fall fashion. I absolutely love how this look translated with my warm natural fur vest. Now that the temperatures are slowly dropping, I am turning to fur (finally!) It has actually been fairly warm in NYC so I haven’t needed to access that portion of the closet yet, but I was so happy once I made it to the mountains it was time. My Mansur Gavriel bag which I have not taken off my body (it was not the easiest to pin down) was the perfect weekend staple.
Hope you guys enjoyed hearing a little bit about my weekend. Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! Be sure to shop my entire look below + some additional styles I am loving at the moment. x A
