Happy Monday! Jason and I celebrated at a friends wedding over the weekend and now couldn’t be more exhausted! Although it was a ton of fun, this is going to be a busy week so I have to get in the mindset of switching back to work mode.
With the New Year approaching I am really going to try my hardest to keep to a strict blog schedule and give you guys new content every Monday & Thursday as well as some other fun surprises throughout the weeks.
Now onto the fun stuff, my outfit. One of my favorite ways to wear a summery dress in the winter is to layer with a sweater. My Joie Auggie Dress and Joie Ife Sweater are the perfect combo as the flowers on the dress pick up the dusty mink in the sweater. I threw on my OTK boots for a little warmth although lets be honest, I was freezing! My sleeveless fur vest was one of the best investment pieces I ever made. I constantly gravitate towards it in my closet and layer it over everything including leather jackets.
So, on another note, there is a new section of the blog I want to implement every Monday. I’ve decided to share something that I am inspired by, attached to, focused on, or just simply something I am loving every Monday in my new, Monday Motivation. I want to dig deep through my travels, every day findings, and more to bring you all some fun inspiration from my world.

MONDAY MOTIVATION
I’ve been so hooked on everything pastel, pink, blush, rose, etc. If you guys follow along on instagram you probably could tell there has definitely been one color palette over the past few weeks. When I came across this photo from Sketch in London I fell in love. The chevron marble floor, the pink banquette seating, the velvet cushions, the artwork on the walls…. where to even begin. I kind of automatically dreamt I could shrink this room into a smaller version and one day make it a dressing room. So feminine, chic, simple and glam. The little inspirations I come across on a day to day basis really mold my mood when it comes to picking looks. The mix of the ditsy floral from my Joie Auggie Dress with the dusty mink cashmere sweater felt perfect to go with todays motivation. Feminine, dainty, romantic and simple.
