Happy Fall! I am so excited it is finally my favorite time of year in New York… I can’t wait to whip out my scarves, chunky knits, coats, and boots. I wanted to slowly transition the blog and shoot more Fall looks (even though it is still 80 and sunny in NYC.) I guess in my mind the easiest transition involved some black lace and a light weight knit. The Joie Matrika sweater is absolutely perfect for this time of year. You are ready to wear sweaters… but you can’t really get away with anything heavy since it feels like summer. You are ready for Fall colors… but black makes the most sense since oxblood, camel, and midnight blue are all on your to do list for October / November. The open back makes it lightweight enough, right?
I paired this black lace number with my favorite Asos Bow Heels from last season. These pumps gave the look that feminine touch I was aiming for. I could easily wear this for a busy day at the office (perhaps with flats) into drinks with the girls at night.
