Shaggy

It has been absolutely frigid in New York and it was close to impossible to shoot this weekend without freezing to death! I purchased this faux fur shaggy coat a few years ago and it really is one of my favorites. I love the mixed colors of the faux fur, the shaggy texture, and simply how oversized it really is. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at a wedding as well as running around the city putting together last minute things before we leave for vacation. Whenever I have one of those days that are non-stop, I have to wear my Joie Barlow booties. They are by far the most comfortable and fashionable flats… I own way too many of them! I love how the shaggy vest paired well with the destroyed denim, and my booties brought it all together color wise. Working the shredded jeans and the faux fur definitely is a statement, but my motto has and always will be…. more is more! I did keep it an all black outfit so that the faux fur did the talking. 

I will probably be a little off the map while I am on vacation, we all do need some relaxation! I will definitely be posting all week on my instagram, @ariannablake so keep checking for some updates!
