I can’t believe it is officially December! Although it is still mid 50’s in NYC (when will the cold weather finally get here?!) all of the streets are beginning to feel and look a lot like Christmas. It is by far the best season in New York and I love all of the festive spirit throughout the city. This will be the first year I’m not traveling for the holidays (thank you Zika) so I’m kind of excited to have some time off to take in all the city has to offer!
I know that everybody is obsessing over the OTK boot trend which I also love, BUT there is something nice about a classic tall boot – ( one that does not go above the knee.) Being that I am very petite, sometimes OTK boots are overwhelming on my frame and go too high up the leg. I have a few pair that work specifically well for me but I also love the look of a classic tall boot. My Joie Jabre Boots are the perfect heel height and by far the most comfortable boots I own. I could run all over the city in these babies, they are perfect! I am also loving this classic pair in black suede, this brown suede pair would be the perfect neutral, a little embroidery never hurt anyone!, and of course a pair of flat tall boots are perfect for everyday.
I love all of the colors in this post between my plaid shirt, pom pom poncho, and Henri Bendel bag – I mean, can we discuss this bag?!?! So beautiful. I am a huge fan of a cape/poncho – especially when the weather is not too cool but you still need something to keep warm. Today would actually be the perfect day to whip this piece out. I also know it will come in handy when traveling!
