Happy Monday Guys! I am officially back in New York after the most amazing vacation! If you missed out on my Instagram, Jason and I spent a few days in Aruba to ring in my 27th and it was exactly what I needed.
Now that I am back in the city, holiday shopping is definitely on my mind. This is my favorite time of year for so many reasons (especially all of the upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales!) I will definitely be putting together some of my favorites for you further into the week but for now, I wanted to put together a perfect holiday party look.
A midi skirt is the perfect piece to start with when it comes to the holidays. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but they instantly transform your outfit and bring it to a bit of a dressier level. I tend to keep the top/blouse portion of my outfit more tailored and fitted in an effort to let the skirt shine. This Alice and Olivia bodysuit is necessary if you don’t already own one… this is by far one of my essentials when it comes to styling a party look. It works perfectly with all sweaters, wide leg pants, high waisted pieces, and more. I also love a fitted sweater styled with some fun accessories as another alternative to wear with a fuller skirt.
I included links above to everything I am wearing including some similar styles I love. I hope everyone will try out the midi skirt trend for any upcoming festivities you may have… I promise you will love the way it looks! Don’t be afraid of the length, I am extremely petite but I find it adds a touch of elegance to my look.
On the topic of upcoming online sales, I have a website that I am absolutely obsessed with. Www.Fartetch.com has everything I want and all of the pieces are so perfectly curated to the site that it is so easy to style an entire look in just a few clicks. I put together two holiday party boards that are modeled after the look I styled in this post. I am a huge fan of everything navy and black so I wanted to push the trend. Farfetch had the best selection of midi skirts (in my opinion) as well as dressier tops. Being that I styled majority of my jewelry layered in the gold, silver and rose gold family – I kept my two boards focused around special pieces of jewelry that easily will elevate any holiday party outfit you throw on. All of my picks are shoppable when you sign up for www.liketoknow.it
Hope you guys enjoy my holiday party looks! x A
