I don’t think I can pinpoint my one favorite piece from this look… Fall is definitely in the air in New York and it is my favorite season. The minute the leaves start changing and the air feels brisk, it is time to bring out my favorite flannel shirt.
This Elizabeth and James plaid shirt has been a staple in my closet for years. I pair it with everything possible… leather skirts (as seen above,) denim, shorts, layered with a chunky knit, basically any way you could imagine. The grey and black color scheme lends itself to dressing this plaid up for a night out or wearing it for a more casual daytime look. 
Can we talk about these Asos Shoes? Firstly, they are under $100… need I say more? The bow detail gives them that extra ounce of special that you look for in a second pair of staple black pumps. I already see them with ripped boyfriend jeans, heavy turtleneck, scarf, and leather jacket. Like I said… fall is my favorite time of year!
