First post of 2016 and I had to embrace my gorgeous city as the backdrop! Hallie and I actually used a different lense this time around so the background is not as blurred which I kind of love… you can really see how amazing every corner of NYC is and how vibrant the city feels. I wanted to shoot a really classic look, browns and blacks to kick the year off right. I love how every piece I am wearing is something that I can re work in a hundred different ways. That has always been one of my New Years resolutions I think I could say… purchase items that are timeless, can be re-worn, and invest your money in something you know you will have forever! Of course fast fashion from Zara is always right up my alley but for the higher priced pieces (i.e. my Joie leather skirt, Joie coat, OTK boots) I would recommend always investing in classic, basic, and core colored pieces.I really can’t begin to thank all of you for the support over this past year. It has been so beyond words gratifying to share some of my life with you. I really hope that I am able to bring you amazing content in 2016 that keeps you inspired and on the look out for all of my new posts 🙂 Can’t wait for everything to come! x A
