Denim Skirt, Denim Wedges…. I guess I am pretty predictable, hah! I was never a huge fan of a denim skirt until I found this Joie one. It is just A- Line enough, but fits perfectly on the hips. After purchasing, I realized – what am I going to style this with? I sort of had a little bit of trouble coming up with the right pieces to pair back so I figured why not just go with the basics. A silk top wouldn’t work, a printed tank or blouse would probably be too much, and it was too warm for a sweater. A simple white tee and I was good to go. I really feel like not overdoing it is critical, and I love how the neutral palette plays off of each other.
When styling a denim skirt my one piece of advice would be to keep it simple! Sneakers, white tee, cute basic sweater, white button down, stripe on stripe sleeveless cotton poplin, and a great belt…. all would look great. Now that the weather is finally warming up, I have been styling my denim skirt with everything!!! I linked a few additional ones I am loving right now here, here and here.
