Pink has always been one of my favorite colors and when I first saw this blazer (a few years ago, but I linked some similar options above) I had to have it. I guess I was early on the trend picking out this boyfriend style cut, but it is definitely something I continue to turn to in my wardrobe. What better time to bring it out then May! Flowers are starting to bloom and the sun is finally shining so I kept everything pretty uniform (white jeans, chambray shirt) and figured I would let the blazer do all of the talking. This is such a great day to night outfit, you can also opt for different blouse options if you wanted to dress it up a bit.
I have to admit, I am so exhausted after a long wedding weekend! Did you guys check out my instagram? I went for a different kind of look but still black tie – and I love how it came out. I received so many questions on my hair so I will definitely be posting a hair tutorial soon! I’m thinking something along the lines of re creating ‘black tie wedding hair waves’ for the every day girl. What do you think?
I’m heading out of New York again this weekend so keep an eye out for updates 🙂 x A
