It’s officially here!! I am so excited to finally announce the re-launch of Blake and Gold! I know I have been behind on posting but it has all been in an effort to bring you guys a brand new site. What better way to kick off my favorite season of the year & NYFW than with some new content and a brand new site!
When first deciding what to change about Blake and Gold I knew I wanted to work on the overall look and feel of the site. Being that I have no prior web design experience, I was able to find inspiration among so many other websites. Ultimately, I created a mood board for what I was looking for while keeping in mind my color palette and aesthetic. I had a vision of exactly what I wanted and thankfully I was put in contact with Sweet Southern Media who truly helped make the entire process seamless and easy. I hope you guys are as excited as I am…. this only means more exciting and new adventures for Blake and Gold!
Now onto the outfit…. my favorite part! Although Fall has officially ‘begun’ in NYC, the temperatures are still screaming Summer! I realized one of my favorite tanks from Mango was still sitting in my closet and hadn’t made an appearance on Blake and Gold so I had to shoot it before it was too late. As a side note, for those of you who have not shopped at Mango before — I highly recommend it. The price points are amazing, very much in line with a Zara, but very fashion forward merchandise and on trend pieces. I purchased these Mother Crop Flare Jeans for the Fall (would be so cute with booties) but once I tried them on… I didn’t take them off! They are the most comfortable jeans I own, so lightweight and thin. I added a touch of sparkle with my Edie Parker Gold clutch and a bold red lip. For the days / nights it gets a little cooler, this outfit would look just as cute with a little fitted crew neck white tee (like this one) under the tank and/or layer on a great leather jacket (like this, this, or this.)
