Off the Shoulder Sweater

I purchased this Sun & Shadow off the shoulder sweater a few months ago from Nordstrom knowing it would come in handy once the temps dropped. Off the shoulder is one of those trends that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere… and I’m not really complaining about it! It is such a flattering shape that can be dressed up or down, and in this case – what’s better than an oversized off the shoulder sweater to wrap yourself up on a cold day! Another Fall trend that I’m loving and happen to feature (in a small way) are my velvet booties, which are under $40!!! They come in a few colors, which is a huge plus. I couldn’t decide between the burgundy and nude but went with nude. Figured you could identify them as velvet more so with the nude, than the burgundy. Lighter colors tend to show detail better than darker ones…

I can already envision wearing this outfit for a casual date night when a coat is still not necessary, but you need something warm enough to get through the night. Not to mention my new favorite mini tote c/o Henri Bendel – I have this bag in multiple colors because I love it so much. It is the perfect size, fits everything I need and still remains small enough to carry from day to night.
