Cardigans, Cardigans, Cardigans…. my love for you has grown so so much over the past few years. Cardigans are a great piece to invest in because they are extremely versatile! You can wear them layered over dresses, tee’s, other sweaters, or style them on their own with nothing underneath. I’ve been waiting to throw on my chunky cardigans and style them with mini skirts, leather pants, wide leg jeans…. pretty much with everything!! The temperature has finallllly cooled down in NY (still waiting on some Fall Foliage!!!) but, luckily, all of my heavier sweaters will finally come out of hiding! Before the season started I invested in a few new sweaters, sold some old ones that really needed to be retired, and refreshed my closet. & Other Stories is a great website for ‘high street’ alternatives to a lot of very expensive sweaters on the market right now. While I love some Ganni, Ulla Johnson and IRO sweaters…..I do not love the price point!!! & Other Stories makes great quality replicas, at a fraction of the price. I am OBSESSED with this pink one which looks exactly like Ganni, this black cardigan, this red turtleneck, and this beautiful cream eyelet knit. I saw this green cardigan on their site and gravitated towards it. I don’t really own anything in this color and felt like this would be a fun way to try out the pop of green. Absolutely love how it turned out…. I’m also excited to pair it with my wide leg faux leather pants. Also, can we discuss this bag – I still remember buying this maybe 12-13 years ago with my parents in Aruba on vacation…. way way back in the day. My mom and I could never part with it and I’m so happy we never sold it. Fendi is obviously back big time….yet, regardless of the brand, this bag is SO beautiful in person and has become one of my favorites to wear with a white tee and jeans, or dressed up for a black tie affair. Whats old ALWAYS, always…. becomes new again!!!!
