If you know me then you know…. Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. The foliage, colors, sweaters and scarves, pumpkins, hot apple cider, cinnamon sticks and fall scented candles, warm fires, my list can go on and on! J, Sunny and I took an impromptu trip out to the suburbs and decided to escape the city and stop by the pumpkin patch. Perfect day in my book. I received so many DM’s on my outfit after posting on my instagram so I decided to use some really quick iPhone shots we took and put together a quick post for you guys.
Absolutely fell in love with this Zara skirt when I saw it on their site….. I love the mix of colors and patchwork style of the print. I initially wanted to invest in a beautiful lavender chunky sweater from Apiece Apart to pair with it but I’m so happy I ended up utilizing a really old Forever 21 cropped cableknit sweater (as seen here.) I also think this could be great with maroon, hunter green, or camel. This is the beauty of a patchwork print — you can wear it with so many different colors, it really allows for a lot of options. My Marc Fisher suede booties from last year have lasted me through an entire season and continue to be in good shape for this year. I love Marc Fisher for the affordable price point and right on trend styling. I’m already eyeing this leopard pair, this shearling combat combo and this light grey suede western style. Lastly, my Henri Bendel bag from last year. So sad they are closing but this happens to be one of my favorite bags in my closet. I’ve received SO MANY complements on it – it looks EXTREMELY expensive in person and the color is perfection.
Do you guys like these impromptu iPhone shots? Should I incorporate more non ‘professional’ looks? More everyday / life posts ? I love sharing Jason and Sunny with you guys so I could definitely work on more real life posts…. Let me know if the comment section!
